Start by checking whether there is a buying offer
A trade-in is a sale of your device to a business. An available offer depends on the exact model, condition and the buyer’s current acceptance criteria. A model guide alone is not a guarantee that every damaged or locked configuration will be accepted.
Do not call every device recycled
A device that can be used again may have a different next step from one that cannot. Reuse, repair and material recycling describe different activities. Ask the receiving service what it accepts and what process applies to your device.
Protect your data whichever route you choose
Back up what you need, remove linked accounts using the manufacturer’s instructions and erase personal information where it is safe to do so. If the device cannot be accessed, ask the receiving service for guidance instead of assuming a reset has happened.
Treat battery damage separately
Do not place a swollen, leaking, overheating or damaged battery in a normal trade-in parcel. Contact the receiving service and carrier for suitable handling guidance. A lack of trade-in value is not permission to ignore shipping restrictions.
Check a conservation campaign’s specific route
For the Dublin Zoo Call of the Wild campaign, use the official campaign page and its trade-in process. A general Buyaphone quote must not be assumed to carry the same campaign attribution or contribution rules.
Buyaphone acceptance and trade-in terms
Device menus and service availability can change. Follow the manufacturer’s current instructions and the terms supplied with your actual trade-in.
Good for your wallet. Better for tomorrow.
